Due to ongoing court operational limitations, completing criminal record searches in this county remains a bit more complex than in others. Specifically, two separate courts must be searched to fulfill a full county criminal background check: the Circuit Court and the Justice Court.

• ⏳ Justice Court: Unfortunately, this court requires fully manual searches conducted through the court clerk, as no public access terminals are available. The typical turnaround time for Justice Court searches is approximately two weeks, though it can vary depending on the search complexity and the clerk’s workload.

At this time, our research timelines are dependent on the responsiveness of the court clerks, particularly for Justice Court cases. Please know that our team initiates all research immediately upon request and continues to follow up regularly to expedite results wherever possible.

Please be advised that our researcher on-site at the Tuolumne County Courthouse in California has reported that the public access terminals are currently down for maintenance. Unfortunately, court staff were unable to provide an estimated time for when the systems will be restored. As a result, we are temporarily unable to process court records searches in Tuolumne County. We understand the importance of timely updates and will continue to monitor the situation closely. Rest assured, we will keep you informed of any developments as soon as we receive them.

Follow Up: Public Access Terminals remain unavailable as of 05/22/2025.

The Public Access Terminal at Lima Municipal Court in Allen County, Ohio has been down since May 5th and remains unavailable. According to court officials, the outage is due to the implementation of a new case management system. Unfortunately, both the new and old systems are currently offline, so no case information can be accessed through the court’s systems at this time. As a result, no searches can be performed in Allen County. Court staff have indicated it could take several months before the system is fully operational again. We will provide an additional update as soon as more information becomes available.
